Glamorous Life of Sachiko Hanai opens April 13th, 2007 (limited)

An innocent call girl gets mixed up in an International incident in Mitsuru Meike's THE GLAMOROUS LIFE OF SACHIKO HANAI. Sachiko gets hit by a stray bullet after an argument breaks out in front of her while she's waiting for one of her coworkers from the local sex club. When Sachiko wakes up the next day she dislodges the bullet and discovers a metal canister in her pocket. Suddenly a whole new world awakens before Sachiko's eyes, and she's soon speaking in foreign languages and solving complex problems. But the human finger in the canister, which belongs to a former American president, will change both Sachiko's world and the fate of the human race.

David Chase looks like a nice guy. The 61-year-old television writer and producer is slight, wry and direct. But with a mere phone call, he strikes fear in the heart of actors after all, his rap sheet is a mile long.
